Ugh... This is just another reminder of why it sucks to be a DC sports fan. This is such a DC sports thing to do. Release a championship winning coach and then don’t even mention his accomplishments at a ceremony HIGHLIGHTING SAID ACCOMPLISHMENT?

Sure I can. I just did.

I brought it up because that’s the system as designed. That’s the framework around why something is or isn’t. What happens when people circumvent the designed system (and how often it happens) is an entirely different discussion, as I just said.

Please point to the quote in anything that I wrote on this article’s comment that defends any system anywhere.

I’m still not understanding how it’s any more ironic than someone using a gun to threaten someone being shot by someone holding a gun. Yes - the police officer was allowed to threaten or even shoot someone with a gun. No, in many places you’re not allowed to.

I didn’t miss it - it’s not relevant to what I’m saying (so I didn’t write it). All of the pictures are of on-duty cops. The point I’m making is that they’re permitted to do it “professionally” - as in, on the job. What people do while breaking the rules is 100% the same as someone breaking the law while speeding.

... and police can carry a gun in their car - and use physical force to arrest people. They can also drive over the speed limit, and run through red lights.

Hell, there are other people who can drive vehicles over 26,000lbs for business purposes, and even others who can drive vehicles with trailers exceeding 26,00olbs!

For me and my friends who play, the fact that playing more doesn’t make you inherently any better than anyone else is a perk. We don’t have tons of hours to sink into games anymore, but grew up kicking ass in shooters long ago. Once we got over the initial learning curve of this game, it’s actually great knowing we

I dunno about that point about squads only being useful when playing with friends. Battlefield 2 was fairly slow and heavily emphasized communications via the Commo Rose. If EA could just make that more effective, anonymous squad/team play becomes WAY more viable. Having squad/team chat also enables someone to at

It honestly has turned me off to pretty much everything post-2007. I’m just keeping my older cars running forever, I don’t care what people say. I just want a car that’s a car, not a god damned entertainment center/computing device.

See my other comment on this thread I guess... I just honestly don't want a screen I have to "navigate" in the first place. It's needless complexity.

I’ve only ever driven friends’ cars with touchscreens or rented them. Universally hated em. My old G35 had a screen that was navigated with super simple buttons that you didn’t really have to look at to use, and my legacy has no screen at all. I’ve never really cared to own a car that *needs* a touchscreen to do what

I’m probably in the minority on this, but I frankly just don’t care that much for the sound of the majority of Ferrari V8's. The F40 is one of them. The only one that really does it for me is the F355 motor ... Good God that sounds glorious.

Because touch screens tend to require visual confirmation of what you're pressing - along with some reasonable expectation of accuracy in actually pressing the thing you're trying to press. They work fine in nearly stopped traffic or long clear highways, but trying to press a button at arm's length while being moved

End of an era! I've been seeing/reading these for nearly 10 years myself! I wonder if someone else will take up the torch...

Exactly.

Am I the only one that came here expecting this to have happened *IN* Saudi Arabia? I’m disappointed. This would’ve been a WAY cooler moment had she gone out there and laid some donuts all over the patriarchy, lol.

Pure numbers, eh?  I guess a little something like an average weight of closer to 110-120lbs vs 160+ for 40-60lbs savings is nothing, then...  I wonder how many millions of dollars F1 teams spend trying to shave 40-50lbs off their cars’ overall weight.

I’m 34. This game frustrated the hell outta me at first too, but then I realized something: I’ve spent the vast majority of my life playing games that all mainly worked like games I understood. Fortnite really had a new mechanic that I had just really never gotten any good at with its building dynamics.
