I’m sorry, but the push these days from some sites to be completely objective is bullshit. I’ve followed gaming media for the vast majority of my life (‘91+), from the incredibly cerebral and engaging journalism of Johnny Wilson’s Computer Gaming World, to the collective democratized asshatery that is steam reviews.…
http://928.jorj7.com/mpeg/devek-rac… if you want to do it reliably? Get a 928. Stock gears run out at 260mph @ 7000rpm (2.2 final drive), and you can achieve 209mph with only about 450hp. In this car, that hp number (reliably) is as easy as a $5000 supercharger kit. Hell, at $12k you can do a 650whp TT kit. An 87+ 928…
I'm confused as to how this happens, exactly. Where on your car loan was there a box for 'race'? I don't remember specifying anything about my demographics besides my name, title, and occupation.
There's also just the time-old classic: "because it would take too long, and you wouldn't understand anyway". It may be totally dickish, but it's generally true.
I like my big four-wheel-drive sedan better :) More hp, more leather, more interior room, mmm... (to be fair, it's the car that the 08+ Imprezas ended up using as a platform base, so really I just have a long-wheelbase pre-modern WRX).
Pretty clear that the JF-17 is totally stolen off the F-16 as well. I mean, christ...
I mean for me... the thing I can't get over is that $650M price tag. It's not survivable, and it's not well-armed, so you'd think it'd at least be cheap? At least we could win on numbers?
Omg guys, that would never work. I can tell because of the pixels.
however... MQ-9 delivers something like 2,000-4,000lbs total, where the B-1 can deliver 125,000. So dollar per pound delivered the B-1 is a bargain (especially when you consider potential replacement cost for predators that can't escape or defend against SAM/AAA threats).
Still my favorite intro from ANY of those games.
Have there been? It was done to death in the 90's. All the Jane's Air Combat Simulators (USAF, USNF, F-15, etc), Falcon 3.0/4.0, and I'm sure there are a TON I'm forgetting (MicroProse/Spectrum Holobyte were the early big names). Combat flight sims were the FPS of the mid-late 90's. There were a ton of them and…
Not sure I buy that.
Or they just built more of them under an actual "C-*" name with a normal paint scheme, and they're properly clandestine/never seen.
