@roodles: no you're not. That sounds incredibly patronizing/ white guilt. Have you talked about it with your husband and what does he think? It sounds like she needs a firm reiteration of your need for space with your husband backing you up on it, since she is his mom.

Please no. She has the worst voice in all hell.

The McDonald's of music! ahaha

I have the hardest time finding clothes. I am basically a petite upside down triangle- wide shoulders, large breasts, short torso with thin waist and narrow hips. So basically, only the upper part of an S curve. I don't think I have an era...

Argh. As an Alaskan I would just like to say, we've had to deal with the Murkowski family in Alaskan politics long enough that most of us probably know how to spell their name. Sorry, private-militia-psycho-teabagger, many of us are literate and have legible handwriting. I know, shocking.

@tlachtga: I hear that. I'm in a criminology class right now, and it's not just rare occurences- people say all the time "most cops are good"- it's ALL the fucking time. And as I've heard from so many people who know cops, they almost always enter into the field as a means of proving or asserting their masculinity.

@envirodesigner: thank you also. I will use the shit out of it.

the more i hear about police lately, especially in their dealings with women, the less I can ever trust them.

@NoodlePress: lol you know her personally? I've just read that she said something about Love's baby being in a closet shooting up, which sparked Love's outrage. Doesn't seem so implausible to me, but then who knows.

@NoodlePress: Kathleen Hanna insulted her daughter, a pretty low thing to do.

saw these all over Italy in the tourist traps when I was there last spring.

@meritxell: an erotic life: im pretty sure your pic is still post- some plastic surgery (esp the nose.) I still think she looked awesome before it all though.

heat exhaustion can be quite dangerous, and by the way, Tyra, there gets to be point where a person physically cannot control their posture and facial expression under harsh conditions.
