My wife reminded me of this one that was big a few years after graduating high school. Trump is notorious for blaming someone for doing the things he’s doing. He said “check out the sex tape” for the Miss Universe contestant, when there’s a rumor that the Russians have a secret tape of him at an orgy during a business trip to Moscow.

I think you have the false assumption that a lot of them will ever know that only half the jobs will be saved, or that Cheeto Benito stands to profit off this. I’m sure a lot of them will only hear him say he saved 1,000 jobs.

Both things can be important.
