I'm generally less embarrassed to admit a sexual fetish than the fact that I root for the Browns.

Seriously, the concert advice is dead on. That was me in my 30s and I can hear nothing in bars now. That 9th row Pink Floyd ticket in a stadium was not my brightest move.

I have no illusions, but having never gotten around to seeing them (born in '71), sometimes you take what you can get. See also: Floyd post-Waters, Waters post-Floyd.

That's why it's so pathetic. You don't need to twist his words to make Al Gore come off like a pompous twit, and on top of that they made me defend Al Gore, which…just no.

I quite liked him in Everything Must Go, and I'm not the world's biggest Ferrell fan.

Also the parsecs thing was totally deliberate.

I think that was one of my earlier "wow, she's really acting because damn that is one amazingly hot woman" experiences.

One must always allow for context and the ethical conventions of the times. I mean, that was 30 years ago!

Band name alert.

The AV Club

Cheetos and masturbation?

Yeah, I have basically one criteria for judging comedies. "Clever" shows that make me chuckle occasionally are fine, but I'll take "laugh my ass off" any day.

If in the sense of "humor just isn't a good subject to analyze at length", I pretty much agree. If in the sense of "this show isn't any good", can't agree.

Cleveland in July if Trump is denied?

I'm new here, but I think there's a meme for answering that question…

I think they became popes.

"Stormbringer has done many shows and
concerts, including the St. Pete Rib
Fest and Taste of Pinellas at Vinoy
Park, concerts at Coachman Park in
Clearwater, Bike Fest and Poker Runs in
Daytona, the Florida State Fair grounds,
and various events in St. Petersburg,
Tampa and the Florida Key."

There's "The Sword", but I guess that's a pretty non-specific fictional sword.

I've lurked here for years and I had to register just to upvote that. Magnificent.
