Ok, I apologize for the rant I’m about to go on, but god DAMNIT USA! I lived in the states for almost 2 decades, legally and on various visas until I got a green card. And that process was long and hard and only open to me because I’m white and have a Comp Sci degree and kept my nose squeaky clean for all of that
