The guy had a fairly well equipped shop/home, so it’s not like he was doing things out of a dirt floor garage, but it was really cool.  He had one room totally full of fun stuff like his first car and several bikes.  He had one old Harley in his house even, lol.  He had stuff like a mill and lathe though, so he could

I just threw up in my mouth a little when I saw that picture...

This one is tough to me. Very few people would really use the full merits of an SUV on a regular basis unless they were essentially a school bus. I know my family got plenty of use out of our old Durango when my brother and I were kids and we played hockey and had bags full of gear.

The styling scans less as “cool, possibly even hip” and more just as “Corvette.”

Didn’t they confirm the Ram TRX not that long ago?  I thought it was already a given the Ram was getting some kind of supercharged fun.

I dunno, I still enjoy driving my Viper slow.  It makes fun noises and shakes the cabin all the same.

Yeah, I’ve played several f2p games over the years and haven’t spent a cent, yet have pretty much “beaten” them all from a story standpoint. I even had some decent teams, though nothing crazy like fully maxed units. Patience goes a long way, plus a healthy dose of stubborness and just time.

Europe seems to be better suited to it as well.  I met a coworker over in Sweden that was big into Husqvarna motorcycles and several other brands.  He had several he was rebuilding and one of the latest projects he was showing me was an oil pump that he had modeled up in CAD from a broken original and he actually

Yeah, the electronics and code are really the biggest kickers for me on modern cars, though as you mentioned there are some dedicated people out there. I’ve been around cars and worked on them for most of my life, so troubleshooting and diagnostics are second nature to me and don’t really phase me, but not having the

Yeah, I think the parts is the biggest part of it that would get me.  I just rebuilt the engine in my Viper after a spun rod bearing and while no parts are really all that “special”, they do carry the Viper tax, like a timing set that costs $300+, lifters that are $20 each, piston rings that are $20 a piston, etc.  It

Lol, on both accounts. I suppose that is one spin you can put on money not buying talent. I’d say it doesn’t guarantee talent, but it sure can give you a leg up.

They need to add some characters from Ogre Battle.  Destin and Debonair would be sweet.  They could be just like Fire Emblem characters (similar archetype of a person with a sword), so I would think they could be “easy” to make in that regard, but it would at least get another franchise out there, even if it’s really

I have fought the idea to purchase an old mega luxury car several times in my short life so far. I will work on anything and have zero problems tearing apart a $100,000 car myself, but I just don’t have a compelling reason to get one right now or the space for it.  I also am fairly sure that actually doing the work on

I guess my confusion is more what he would do with two teams, especially if there is a time lag between the acquisition of the next team and the acquisition of Aston Martin. If he buys Aston now and wants to put an automaker name on his current F1 team, that would make sense. But if he then buys a better F1 team as

Not sure I follow.

That would be a fun sleeper.  Well, sitting in the parking lot until someone hears you start it at least.  Could make for some fun hijinks.

I guess that throws some water on the news the other day that the Mercedes F1 team might turn into an Aston Team if Stroll is doing that with Racing Point first.

The curse of being an engineer that designs trucks like that, lol. I work on the smaller brothers to that big monster. They use roughly the same engine that’s in a Dodge Ram to move 120,000 lbs or so.  Amazing what you can do with gearing.

Modern truck tires though?  I could see performance tires being up there, but I wouldn’t think high load rating tires are going to have the same kind of stickiness.  I know I’m a bit out of the loop as I deal with heavy duty tires on a more regular basis, but I’ve never really heard of sticky truck rubber.
