I have “Where in Time is Carmen Sandiego” for the NES.  It came with a freaking encyclopedia in the game case.  A highly specialized encyclopedia that’s really more like a dictionary in the brevity of its entries, but quite the novelty nonetheless for a video game.

They may be horribly dated, but man those seats look comfortable. Like a well worn rocking chair, I just want to sink into one and relax.

I love the retro love of SMEG’s appliances (what can I say, I like the era), but that price tag is laughable for a toaster.

This seems kinda unfair to everyone else involved in the game. If one person does something bad, why should everyone else lose their share of the profits? Though I guess they’re probably just paid upfront and not on a royalty basis, but still seem unfair they would lose out on any kind of notoriety they might have

This is one of the greatest uses of a sandbox game that I’ve ever seen.

Shhh, don’t tell people our secret.  I learned about this a year or two ago and have used it the few times I’ve traveled international.  The only problem I had once was they had the mobile passport lines closed the first time I went to try it and were sending me all the way back down the hallway to use some other

I remember back when my friend was working on trying to build an RTS/RPG engine and was doing path finding.  He was talking about all sorts of different algorithms and which was most efficient, etc.  The only thing I really remember about it was one was called A-Star (A*).  Was interesting to learn how a computer

I’m still salty they debuted this thing with a snarly V8, then announced it would be V6 only, and now are talking even full electric.  I mean, the thing is still gorgeous, but Maserati is known just as much for its sound.

I say one portal room that has ports to all the main cities, then a portal room in each city for portals to zones specific to that region.  So if I wanted to go to Karazhan or something I could port from Boralus to Stormwind, then Stormwind to Karazhan.  Keeps the clutter down compared to having them all in one huge

GM is trolling us all, it’s a hatchback with tons of cargo space in the back and a small 4 cylinder still mounted up front.

Yay, Kimi would have a shot at stuff again, lol.  I was happy he seemed to be getting his mojo back at the end of the last season, though bummed that he’s likely getting ready to bow out of F1.  At least he’ll be in a pretty car this season.

Knee originally told the organizers that he intended to use random select for the exhibition, but when he was refused

I’m pretty sure dealers technically buy the cars from the manufacturer, so it’s not like Hyundai isn’t getting money from them if a car doesn’t sell.  They get the money up front and the dealers have to make it back when they sell the car.  Granted if they mark them way up and they don’t sell, it means Hyundai would

So you’ve been able to buy spec race cars directly from suppliers for a while now (GT3 being the most common that comes to mind), so really these aren’t any different than that.  They are just more or less de-restricted versions that don’t have to meet a specific series spec.  It’s getting bad though when the actual

Pokemon Snap VR is already kinda a thing, it’s called Pokemon GO.  I guess not exactly VR, but for everyone clamoring that they want a new Snap game it’s kinda already there.

Neutral: I’m not sure if brands would necessarily be merging. I wonder if there wouldn’t just be profit sharing from common platforms. Take the Toyota/BWM thing recently. My idea would be each company gets a share of either vehicle sold. It wouldn’t necessarily be an even split, but since both use common technology,

Now playing

Despite an independent rear suspension, the car displays all the grace of a sumo wrestler on figure skates.

But now, for a reason that only the car gods can understand

Yeah, that’s not even a tank of gas a year.  That’s what puts me off with a lot of low mileage cars.  I know I’ve put more gas through my car in a week than some people do in a year.

Auto-limiting speed in school and hospital zones would be interesting only because I wonder where they would be getting their information from and how big the area would be.  Schools and hospitals aren’t things that close down all that often, but imagine a decade down the road if you bought one of these used and
