where it’ll replace the full-size Lego Ford Explorer that’s already there.

I’m more excited that I might be able to buy a pair to put in one of my other cars as an upgrade (these being cars from the 60s and 70s). Those look like a pretty standard housing on the front at least. If the back isn’t super crazy they might be able to replace old sealed beam style round lights.

Fair enough, you wouldn’t have to use my examples, but 4 different four door cars doesn’t make as much sense to me. Frankly BMW’s setup is still completely baffling to me. I’m not even sure enthusiasts can keep their stuff straight anymore.

I don’t need an AMG or even one that is remotely new, but I have always like the G Wagen’s looks. I would totally take an older one over a Jeep for something different to drive around town to haul people or groceries. I would never pay anywhere near what someone is asking for them though.

Seems like an awful lot of new models. I’d think it would make more sense for a luxury company to zero in on just a few really good ones instead of trying to spread themselves so thin over a huge portfolio. Then again I pretty much only like 2 door cars anyway and prefer 2 seats, so I’m certainly biased. I’d think a

These figures are encouraging as it is essential that more women are recruited

Maybe I should get one of these for a winter beater...

That just reminds me of what one of my car club friends once said. He got an Aveo as a loaner car while his was being fixed and he called it “one step up from a bicycle”.

The N64, for example, will forever be remembered for its introduction of a proper thumbstick, but there’s little else about that pad’s design that made a lasting impression.

because the signals need to transmit 10 times faster than a normal cellphone call and be reliable 100 percent of the time.

It was noted in a few articles and discussions regarding the design of the gen 5, but there could have been other factors in play as well. The frame is very similar to the previous generation I believe, so that probably weighed in on the decision as well. It is nice knowing that it’s (relatively) easy to repair in

Admittedly it wasn’t terrible like my 71 Vette (no surprise there), but I would tend to agree that they likely tuned to the “luxury” side of the dial on the setup. It was a really nice car despite the miles, but ultimately it was just boring for me to drive every day. Would love to have another as a secondary car when

Depends on the nature of the part. If they are still functional parts I’ll usually keep them in the shed or garage or something as spares or will try to sell them. If they’re broken, I tend to just toss them, but will sometimes keep them to use for piece parts. For instance, there are some broken window regulators on

Yep, I have a very similar opinion regarding their shifting habits, though my gripe is usually that they just don’t downshift fast enough. If I’m cruising along and then decide to bury my foot, it’s a good second or so before the autos I’ve driven decide that I’m really serious and finally downshift.

It’s been my experience in every auto I’ve driven, granted I don’t drive many that often. My 2000 XKR I had in sport or standard mode still had a less than direct feeling to it. Admittedly not as bad as something like a truck or my old 71 Vette, but still not the same as a manual.

How many yards are in a roll? 20 yards per joint? That seems like an awful lot of rolls of tape.

I mean while driving down the road, not just taking off. If I cruise down the street doing 30 and the speed limit changes to 40 and I roll onto the throttle, with a manual I get an immediate response and change in speed. With an auto I’ll tip into the throttle, the engine note goes up, but the acceleration lags behind

There’s an early 70's B body Mopar in the town I work with “Jezebel” all over the side of it. Definitely looks and sounds the part to match the name.

I’m conflicted. I love the idea of this car, but I have a feeling that gearbox would get to me. I hate automatics because of the torque converter and the disconnect I get between the engine and the wheels. They never feel connected, even on a modern car with a lockup converter. If I move the throttle I want it to feel

I agree they are fun to drive, I just think my Viper is more fun to drive than the Vettes I’ve driven.
