The only way they could have made this better is to paint the keys to look like cars and coffee crowd members.
Sorry GM, this is the only way I want to go.
I was the proud owner of a 1999 Dodge Dakota SLT 3.9L Automatic 4x4. This was, in fact, my first ever car, so that may have something to do with my opinions of it. I bought it in Upstate NY, the world capital of salt induced rust. It ran like a champ, shifted well at first, and drove nicely for a pickup. The engine…
Nope.
The drivers?
The neon gets my vote for redemption based primarily on the fact that 20 years of New York snow, road salt, rain, and potholes could not kill our 1995 Neon. To this day, no matter how many plastic pieces shattered on it, nor how many sections of the exhaust rusted and fell off, this little car starts, runs, and…
I am living in Europe these days and have driven several newer Peugeots and Citreons. While I find them to be quite decent, none of them inspired me to run out and buy one. Even the Peugeot RCZ, which is decent fun didn’t light a fire in me. What worries me is that FCA has done well with some of its more recent product…
Saab is dead. R.I.P. Lotus was bought by the Malaysians, and Volvo has run into a whole mess of reliability issues ever since the Chinese parent company decided that Quality Control was not important. Which one of these is a proven success story? At least they aren’t owned by British Leyland I guess.
1990's Buick Lacrosse was capable of 30 mpg with that little 3.8L under the hood. I’m not sure if that counts as a midsize though.
I must agree. Fun fact, I think ford is playing the same copy other cars game with the continental.
Ah the civic, the prized possession of every moron who watched the original fast and furious and thought, my $500 eco-car can do that. I can’t tell you how many of these things I saw with unpainted, poorly mounted body kits meant for different cars, fart cannon exhausts, and rear spoilers that appear to be mounted by…
Why did GM think Buick needed one of these in it’s lineup?
Agreed
I just threw up in my mouth a little...
I voted NP. Its not the most exciting car in the world, but it is quite unique. for $2700, I could see myself driving it.
I can’t look at without the overpowering urge to gouge both my eyes out. GM has a remarkable talent for making cheaply made cars look even cheaper. Sit inside the new Silverado and you will see what I mean.
I have certainly bought worse and paid more.
Mr. Clavey, I enjoyed reading about your adventures in Quebec with the Chevy Bolt. I am still contemplating my options for the next vehicle I purchase. EV’s are appealing, but cold conditions like those in Quebec, and to a lesser extent in my home of Upstate NY leave much to be desired for range. Is Canada looking…
It looks like a mangled Ford Fusion to me.
