HOCM is no joke, NCAA needs to start screening all athletes for enlarged left ventricles and allow them to retain their scholarship even though they can’t play competitive sports (and give the school another one obviously)

He had to know his buddies would try to talk him out of it, why else would he spring it on them. So at some level he knew it was a bad idea.
