I bought a 27" Apple Cinema Display on Craigslist for about $550, and I have to say, it was worth every penny.

You're right that everyone has different tastes, but I'm looking at it purely from a "how many games are out, how many are good, etc."

For me, the only thing that made the Vita interesting was the Bioshock game. Now that it is on indefinite hiatus, my interest has gone way down. You're right, it is the only platform that can offer a complex experience, and it may still change my mind. But right now, it is in limbo.

Yes, the same applies. I don't own a 3DS or a Vita. But you know what demographic doesn't usually have a laptop, and at best has maybe an iPod? Children.

You're totally right. While Nintendo targets more towards the child demographic, they obviously have appeal with almost every single age group. The Vita has such a limited demographic, one that is reflected in its sales.

You're absolutely right about that market, my argument is just that the "hardcore" gamer isn't really interested in a portable system at all anymore. That's why we have laptops. Most hardcore gamers already have something that fills the void the Vita is supposed to fill.

My point was that, in most cases, I have my iPhone and/or iPad with me. If I'm going on a long trip, like cross-country, I will bring my laptop because I'll be gone for a longer time and need it with me for work, etc.

My guess is that Sony doesn't really have a market that the Vita appeals to. If you're a child, you want the games Nintendo makes - Mario Kart, Zelda, etc. The Nintendo platform is more kid friendly.

But hey, you didn't have to do that. You can turn off the cell phone and just mess around, as you could in previous games.

I don't think fun was completely lost. Sure, we didn't have jetpacks or flying car cheats, but it was still a whole lot of fun to just dick around and cause panic.

But they have gender. Did you not read the article? The absence of difference between genders doesn't mean they are gender-less. It's just a species that only has one gender.

But that's wrong. Notch claims that they do have gender, and whether or not it is relevant to the gameplay or even present in the game isn't important. The game's creator says they have a gender, so they have a gender. I mean, are you saying that, as video game characters, they're incapable of possessing any gender

Asexuality is lack of interest in sex, or basically "non-sexuality." Asexual reproduction is the act of reproducing through cell division, and is basically "cloning" oneself. The animals in Minecraft are obviously not asexual in either definition.

Glad to see my OnLive prediction came true.

Oh, I don't think there is an actual separation anymore. But there is supposed to be, and its highly disturbing how over time we've lost sight of that.

Mountain View, California.

And that's a totally fine thing to believe, except that our Constitution clearly notes a separation of Church and State. Religious views should inherently not influence politics and vice versa. So, while it is absolutely a-okay for their religious view to say that gay marriage isn't appropriate, there are people

Did you see that I specifically mentioned "if you are purely interested in gaming..." I guess not.

But you are stilling paying $1300 more upfront. And, out of your list of exclusive games, most of them either had sequels or rereleases available on consoles, or are over 10 years old and not really as relevant. Sure, Fallout is a great game, but most people would rather play Fallout 3 or New Vegas at this point.

But that isn't intolerance. I'm not intolerant of their beliefs or ideals. Just by making an observation doesn't make you a bigot. Noting that someone else is intolerant doesn't inherently make you intolerant of their intolerance.
