And then they'll demand a refund.

New target audience? Pretty sure that's always been their target audience, at least for the Sims series itself. Little girls could care less about SimCity, SimPark or SimCopter.

Well, most armor changes its appearance based on what class you are. There are some unique pieces that only work for certain classes - ie, the wizard hat - but for average leather plater armor, etc. any class can equip it and it will change appearance...so yes, their comic makes no sense.

I just checked, my mistake. It came out a little over 2 months after. Still within the launch range, but I was wrong.

Assassinations are about not being seen at all, about never leaving a trace. The person you are assassinating shouldn't know you are there. Obviously in film and games this can change depending on the plot, but in general, when you play Assassins Creed, your goal is to sneak in unseen and kill the person. You don't

So just because you feel James Bond has had poor female portrayals that Assassins Creed can't have good ones? If the same writers were behind both projects then you might have a fair point, but the only connection you draw between the two is your own misogyny.

Didn't it launch with Ocarina of Time 3D? I would say that's arguably the most popular Nintendo game. Feel free to disagree, that's why I put the word arguably. It's almost universally beloved, and its obvious that a major push in sales came from that.

Nintendo had a good catalog of games to back up the 3DS. At the very least, they launched with a 3D version of arguably the most popular Nintendo game of all time.

You're forgetting how poorly the 3DS sold and how quickly it got a price drop. The price drop changed everything, but even then, sales are still very weak.

It's wrong to suggest the death of consoles, but with options like OnLive on tablets and set-top boxes, our current understanding of what a console is and does will be dramatically different in 10 years.

And that's exactly why its dead.

Is this a project you are a part of? I'm waiting to hear back about an internship from Activision, but if I don't get it I'm looking for a project to contribute to this summer.

I'm pretty sure that the Gears of War property is owned by Microsoft, just like they own Halo even though they don't own Bungie.

Ouch. Well, it wouldn't be a Bethesda game without one or two game breaking glitches.

Yeah, I know the actual dungeons repopulate. Not sure about outside locations, but it should be the same. Just taking 5 minutes to wait 24 hours a couple of times and try again, and maybe you'll get lucky.

Is the location underground, as in a dungeon you have to enter? Because if it is, after 30 or so in-game days, the location will be repopulated.

Thank you for sharing your story. You've written one of the best articles I've seen regardless of source, taking a very personal and heartbreaking issue and making it into an amazing, extremely interesting piece of journalism. I can only hope your story continues to be republished and shared around the web, and that

You're absolutely right. I don't disagree with a thing you said there. As you note, its hard to get around the power dynamic, but not impossible. The power dynamic is definitely a major aspect, but it isn't the defining aspect in and of itself, as Bourbon Dingo seemed to be making it out to be.

I think I pretty clearly noted rape is all of those things, but to say that rape is predominantly about power isn't accurate at all. That makes the assumption that all rape has the same motivator, that each rapist has the same objective, and that each victim is someone who can have power taken from them.

Oh boy, I love this argument. Rape isn't a sexual crime, its a violent crime! What bullshit. Rape is as much about sex as it is about power and control. There are other ways to enforce a power dynamic without rape. There is a clear, sexual intent behind rape. Does it partly have to do with power? Sure, maybe
