When an ad for Tower Heist came on, one of my friends thought there was a gorilla on the screen for a couple seconds.

I would argue that, for everything Gears tries to be, a well-written story was the last of anyone's concerns. It was a game where the gameplay mechanics were developed first, and they built a story around their gameplay. I agree that it does not make it inherently terrible writing, especially when it was never…
We don't know if Santa Monica Studios is making this. Just worth pointing out. I didn't see any evidence in the trailer, and it could be the same studio that did Chains of Olympus.
I never played it, but I didn't know they had Connery do the voice! It seems like it would have been better to go the Back to the Future game route and just get someone who can do an excellent impression. I love Connery, but yeah, he's like 80. No way he is gonna sound like the sexy suave James Bond I'm used to.
Well, it's not like they're going to bring Sean Connery and Pierce Brosnan into the studio to record dialogue. James Bond is whoever is playing James Bond at the moment. I know they made that From Russia With Love game, and yes, that was an exception, but you can't really draw from different movies and have a…
Maybe they actually enjoy their work and want to control their brand?
That's an interesting argument, although I don't know why it has to be one or the other. I think that a good game is defined both by its ability to be immersive and by its ability to capture your attention, but even more importantly, for the world and the character's believability. It's all about suspension of…
At first I was cautiously interested, but thanks to that extra bit of info you've provided, this may be one of my most anticipated of the year. And that's without a trailer! I love Who Framed Roger Rabbit so much, and the idea of a video game version of that with all that talent behind it is awesome.
I have a pretty good feeling that Bill Gates probably swings the way of a Democrat more so than a Republican, based on his philanthropic endeavors and agreement with the Buffet tax plan.
To be fair, the last full Halo game was Reach. Sure, Anniversary came out last year. And before Reach, it was ODST. Both of them sold for less than a retail game and both were great, but I don't think its at the point where CoD and AC are yet. Hopefully Microsoft doesn't push it to that.
This will not end well.
Oh, I'm pretty certain Sony has a much better idea in motion, considering it has Aaron Sorkin on the other project.
No, that's a separate Steve Jobs movie that Sony is developing.
You'll need a USB adapter for the wireless ones, but I've done it before and its fine.
You can do that, but not how you describe. You have to daisy chain the devices, but there are Thunderbolt graphics card cages, obviously monitors (although they are Apple monitors), and I'm sure you can find a USB hub, or simply use the USB hub on the monitors.
The Xbox 360 wireless controller should work with your Mac as long as you download the right drivers.
Oh, I think everything will be okay. The big issue was I bought things I thought I could pay off, but then some sort of unforeseen issue - a larger than expected bill, some sort of emergency payment, etc - would eat into the monthly payment I thought I was going to pay.
I'm a college student in my 3rd year, and I've got about 2k in credit card debt at the moment that I can only really throw about $200 or so at it each month, so its a very slow and painful spiral of not paying it off because I simply can't.
Not in my apartment building. Vertical bar is push and pull! And extremely confusing to most people who visit, and even those who live here. I'm still not 100% used to it, and I've been here 1 1/2 years.
Sure, that's no problem, but the implication that it is inherently a better purchase - which he is - is rather silly.
