What's that you say? Gizmodo posting a misleading headline, one that can be debunked with reason and logic? Never would have imagined seeing that in a million years.

I think there are still some people playing in Xbox, as my little brother is playing it quite a bit, so I think there's quite a few people on MP still.
More ridiculous anti-tablet hate.
Little known fact, but it was actually a documentary.
Shouldn't it be obvious? The gays are against families! The second you come out, you go on an anti-family crusade, crushing families left and right.
Seriously. The Unreal Engine does what you tell it to do. It isn't inherently slow or fast. They can speed up the animations if they want to. Development choices ≠ poor engine design.
What's more likely is that Apple is going to drop the naming structure altogether, just like they did with the iPad. At a certain point, if you're releasing an iPhone every year, you'll end up with the iPhone 10 in a couple years. Chances are it will be the "new iPhone," just like how we got "the new iPad."
I noticed it too, but that's how game development works. Artists work at the same time as designers - if you had artists create all the assets first, then had designers do the levels, it would take twice as long. They have to work in tandem. So the designers tell the art team they need a helicopter, and in the mean…
Don't worry, Mayans didn't have leap years, which were invented by the Romans. So Mayan judgement day already happened a good 7 months ago.
That's not so much an issue with Unreal as it is with the lack of skilled animators who work on indie projects. Typically you don't get any animators, just modelers who can do animation but won't do a very good job...myself included.
I'm a little confused. In no way is what we are looking at here not possible with today's engines. These environments don't seem that much more detailed than anything we have already; they even look less realistic than some games I've seen. It isn't bad, but it certainly isn't ground breaking. Everything is too…
Nah, it isn't whiny. I'm not one of those people. I think that your disappointment is certainly justified.
That basically sounds like what the article just mentioned. You do have the option to not download this.
Definitely. I mean, if anything, they may not have planned the true ending as DLC, but its safe to assume they have some content that ended up on the cutting room floor, and I'm sure there is more dialogue that we haven't heard. Who knows if its related to the ending or not, but the actor's certainly wouldn't know…
Interesting assumption to make. Just because I'm not concise, I'm automatically angry? Just like how you have to intend to be disrespectful to be disrespectful, right?
Yep, I use gfxCardStatus to control switching. Definitely helps with battery life, but not with the heat issues.
Well, it's not like these insane religious idiots are known for being logical.
I use Chrome on my Macbook Pro, but whenever I watch a YouTube video that is longer than a minute, or watch Netflix, my CPU temp jumps to 91 degrees. It absolutely wrecks my battery life as well - 10 minutes in and I've lost about 10% of my charge.
I'm aware of what imply is. I've used it correctly in the one time I used it. "Disrespect does not inherently imply intent." I still stand by that statement because its absolutely true. I'll even rephrase it with the definition you provided - Disrespect does not strongly suggest the truth or existence of intent. …
Do you even have a point? The one point you made I proved was wrong, because no where can I find a definition of disrespect that says it requires intent? I've laid out a very simple argument, and instead of responding nicely with a point, you continue to be rude and insult me.
