Right, but messing with their profits is most likely only going to hurt American jobs, as opposed to the cheap labor they have at Foxconn.

Actually, boycotting them will only make it worse. That lowers profits, and will results in layoffs of American jobs held at those companies rather than manufacturing jobs overseas. It will affect those companies, but Foxconn will power on throughout it all. It may lose a little money, but the boycott will do more…
I actually own, and love, Limbo. It's beautiful and well done. This is drab, uninteresting and ugly. Big difference.
Oh, its an Arcade game? If that's the case, then I'll give it a pass. It's acceptable for an Arcade title, but not a full-blown $60 release.
Looks absolutely terrible, specifically the animations and overall greyness. I'm not one to normally complain about grey and brown colors in next gen games, but my god, this makes Gears of War look like a kid's coloring book filled with Crayola colors.
Except this company has been around much longer than EA's Origin service. I'm honestly surprised they didn't sue EA.
They're working on it. Give it some time, give the technology a chance to improve and flourish. Xbox was a little bit ahead of its time - now that Siri is so popular, you can expect Microsoft to build off it. In fact I read elsewhere (maybe on Kotaku) that Microsoft will require all future apps and app updates to…
Look into the Panasonic GF3. I have one and absolutely love it for the compact size and the image quality is great. You can probably grab it at Best Buy for around $399 when a sale is going on, and there usually is.
"I don't get the point of going that high other than for show."
While yes, you are correct that at a certain point it isn't going to make a major difference, when considering that this is basically an advertisement, people will remember this and say "Wow, you should get that case - they tested it and it fell all the way from SPACE."
....So is the demo out for Xbox already?
Hey, no problemo. Believe me, the people who complain about articles on Kotaku being irrelevant or not related to games pisses me off as well, so I can relate to being frustrated with people bitchin' and moanin'. I don't find this article irrelevant at all, I just think something like "How the Half Life Gun Sold for…
Then why did you join an argument about graphics quality? That's not the discussion here. I appreciate your opinion but the point you are making in the overall argument is rather irrelevant.
Yes, it could apply to any auctioned item, but those art pieces will go for millions even outside of an auction. Typically, a famous painting isn't going to sell for much more than it is worth on auction because, unless you are an extremely wealthy art collector, the end goal is to resell the painting at a higher…
I have to disagree that you think it is inherently worth $21k. It is worth $21k to you, as the winning bidder of an item at auction for a charity event. That is hardly indicative of its real-world worth, and more indicative of its personal worth to you and you alone, as well as your wealth. I'm not saying you are…
I think your title is a bit misleading, as it implies the gun cost $21,000 to make, as opposed to being bought for that amount at auction. Pretty big difference.
Besides being on an amazing deal at Best Buy (I snagged it for $350 a couple of weekends ago) a lot of revewiers mention the GF3 has much better image quality and much less noise in photos than its predecesors. I agree you are getting rid of a few features, but at the same time, I also own a hand-me-down Canon Rebel…
Exactly. Each child is different, so ratings in the end are meaningless. I was playing M-rated games and watching R-rated films at 13 because I was mature enough to handle it. My brother, however, who is 16 can barely handle most R-rated and M-rated games. I don't think he should be allowed to play Call of Duty…
I think the point here, however, is that you are ultimately in control of the device and what is put on it. That is good.
In Skyrim, it is a staff that does a random magic affect on whatever it is pointed at. I recently turned a guard into a bunny. I read elsewhere it turned a troll into a dinner roll. So its pretty awesome.
