I didn't, because it was a major jump from both the Xbox and PS2 platforms, and its obvious that even while those are outdated cards, they are still capable of producing amazing graphics in this day.

How is Kinect "pointless?" A new console won't bury it. They'll probably bundle it with new consoles, or sell a cheaper version for those who already own one.

There isn't any reason the next Xbox won't be backwards compatible, and that there won't be Kinect support, as obviously Microsoft is pushing that really hard.

My issue is it is not strong enough. I have no interest in buying a new Nintendo console that will once again be outdated within two years of its release.

That's odd. I sort of assumed everyone had the same access to HD channels as long as they had an HD box.

What are you talking about? I get all of those channels in HD and I have Comcast.

It's not about the amount of customers but rather their coverage, and as it stands they have the most coverage of the United States at this point in time, making them the best partner for 3G service.

I think the point is not so much that all these games are similar, but that there are a lot of games of this style coming out. Hardcore military FPS games.

North Korea is an interesting specimen that really defies logic. We often may complain about China being a subversive and corrupt state, but the people of North Korea are so completely brainwashed into oblivion that I don't think there would be much of a back lash.

If you had been paying attention to this situation - you obviously haven't - then you would know that Lodsys licensed use of their technology to Apple. Apple was provided with the rights to include this technology (which is basically for mobile payments) in the iOS SDK.

I have to agree in that they have huge balls if they think they can win and get away with this type of bullshit.

Judging by the trailer, it seems like its running on the Reach engine because they show off assassinations. I would hope they've included some of the upgrades to the gameplay.

It certainly looks better than World of Warcraft, which looks not a whole lot better than Warcraft 3.

There are ways to get the limit raised. Complain to Comcast about your situation and threaten to leave the service unless they raise the cap. Explain how many people you live with (I wouldn't mention Netflix Streaming because Comcast would rather have you buy cable TV), but reinforce that there are so many people

Well, that's the difference. I live with my girlfriend and I'm the heavy data user - she mostly emails and looks at pictures and uses Facebook (although she does a lot of Netflix watching herself).

I can tell you personally that Dungeon Siege 3 demo was absolute shit. I couldn't even beat it. It was too easy and really unfulfilling.

If you watch the video, unfortunately you'll see that you're wrong. It looks like he is an ancestor of Marty's, because when he sees the time machine he says "What the heck is that?"

Ouch. Well, see, that's just fucked up.

I think I'm using significantly more than the average human being would be. My parents maybe using Netflix Streaming once or twice a week and aren't downloading huge files. They probably are more in the 1-2GB a day, if even that. They mostly check their email.

For those complaining about data caps, I seriously don't understand. I stream approximately 3 hours of Netflix a day, download demos off the Xbox Live Arcade, and spend tons of time surfing the internet and downloading software and photo reference and such.
