I loved Portal 2, but I'm a little miffed about this whole thing. Is no one buying Portal for consoles? Is that driving the prices down this quickly?

Oh, you're definitely allowed to complain about it, but you seem to really not enjoy it. If you're that disappointed, it seems like you're the stubborn one for keeping the service and not your friends for using what they enjoy. I personally like the Xbox 360 controller better - its much more comfortable for my hands

You sure are complaining about it a lot for something you are buying. If you want to make a statement, don't pay for it. Just play on your PS3.

Er, I think the Xbox 360 has about equivalent abilities in terms of media playback. It may not be as easy to do but I really only use my PS3 for watching Blurays at this point (or playing games like Uncharted).

I have both and Xbox Live is miles ahead. You know the saying, "You get what you pay for?" Well, in that case, you're getting basically the same service as PSN but its much better maintained. Voice quality is much better (and many more people use mics) and I find it generally easier to find players on games.

You're going to buy a PSP bundle even with the NGP right around the corner?

Oh, definitely, but something that corrupts your save files? In a game like Fallout where many people have 30+ hours of gameplay on a save, this isn't really acceptable.

How many times have they released title updates that completely bonk their games? Good job, Bethesda. You're slowly losing all good will you've earned from your customers, patch by patch.

See, that's a reasonable answer. I guess a better way for me to phrase my question is "Who keeps 3 iPods in their car?"

Just curious, but who has three iPods?

She needs a pretty good excuse for causing 70 people to lose their jobs on Christmas.

Or, you know, maybe the games that are out so far are kinda shit and no one can really afford another piece of technology in this economy, especially when they are perfectly happy with the DS they already have?

I tend to usually just roll with Dictionary.com.

I know, I was just adding on my own thoughts. You make a good point about the "perfect" conditions being something that we adapted to, but considering the massive amounts of life and how different they all are from one another, its quite astounding that we live on this planet and that everything simply turned out how

This is one of the more perplexing questions that atheists like you and I have to find answers to. For example, think of all the planets we know of that can not harbor life (at least the carbon, water-based life that we are used to). Think of the perfect conditions on Earth that allowed for us to come into being.

Sorry, I miswrote - I actually agree. I have no problem with religion, but I meant to say I have problems with those who denounce proven scientific facts because of stories from 2,000 years ago telling them otherwise.

I actually never mentioned Christianity in my comment, because I was speaking about religion as a whole. Most older religions - especially the Judeo-based religions, like Judaism, Christianity and Islam, all are based in the teachings of the Old Testament with variations. As such, they were all created a time when

That's a nice quote. While I am atheist myself, I don't mind religion, and I'm bothered that so many feel the need to denounce it. Who said God, if it exists in some form, didn't create the universe in a scientific manner?

How dare you wish to defile space.

Agreed. If you work construction, fine, own a truck. While I love my Honda, and that's already pretty fuel efficient, if I had the money I'd get a SMART car because I live in downtown San Francisco. I really just need something to get me from my apartment to the grocery and occasionally some longer drives. Between
