Oh yes, congratulations on trolling.

Can't see this design happening. The strange teardrop shape will make it uncomfortable to hold sideways for long periods of time, as required for most games and some apps. One side would most likely be heavier. It also looks too thin for the normal port on the bottom to be there.
They allow wireless controllers for music controllers - not sure why they can't allow it for gamepads as well.
You do if its supposed to be ironic.
The issue is that, to have these long development cycles, you have to have another source of income that is great enough to fund a team for years. Blizzard has World of Warcraft and Valve has Steam. Each of these clients provides them with so much income they don't need to make other products, but they do because…
I didn't forget - that is what the last paragraph is about right thar ;)
One could argue that Team Fortress 2 benefited from Valve Time - look at how popular it remains and how strong of a community it has. It transformed quite radically but it is popular and, while I don't enjoy it myself, I understand why others do.
Oh, definitely. Excellent points there.
Xbox came out in 2005, Mass Effect in 2007. That's 2 years.
I already said it isn't impossible, but its implausible.
Mass Effect launched within 2 years of the generation, and I think it falls into that timeline where new IPs were starting to go downhill in sales.
Did you not read the article? He is talking about new IPs. You can release great games with new IPs near the end of a console generation and basically go bankrupt trying to complete with sequels.
Hey, another reasonable person on Kotaku! As with Highlander, there can only be one, so one of must leave forever.
Wow, people really missed the point.
I've been asking for it a lot, everywhere. Same with KOTOR. Maybe I just had enough different usernames that I got it made.
The thing is that earthquakes can - and will - happen anywhere. You may be lucky for right now, but the fact of the matter is, it could happen one day. Luckily you are in a less volatile region but the Earth's crust is constantly moving and who knows - all it takes is one small push for something big to go down.
On CNN earlier this week after the 7.4 aftershock, they stated with an earthquake so big aftershocks can last up to a year. Not sure if this is accurate but if so, that's pretty scary.
It's always amazing to see what players can accomplish outside of the original scope of the game.
I read his comment. I laughed. I cried. But more so, I was disappointed.
