Over the years Takei has just become increasingly useful only as a high-profile example that LGBT+ people can be incredibly shitty people too.

Takei was the first “liberal” that I realized may just be a token guy. He’s tweeted insuling things about the mentally ill before. He’s insinuated that women are “gross”, along with other sexist statements. He’s body shamed and fat shamed, in particular.

I’ve had many, many encounters like this. Men don’t like hearing no, gay or straight.

It saddened me to see so many people commenting in the other story that they don’t believe Takei’s accuser, even when they believe accusers in other cases.

Also men, everyone needs to step up and maybe people need to pursue their Oscar ambitions through other ways.
