I didn't notice this being discussed, but for laptops, the accidental damage warranty can make a big difference. We don't buy a laptop at work without one, and with one cracked LCD, you've already recouped your costs in many cases! Definitely something to consider. #warranties

I'm pretty sure that I do that in 5 days, if you count time at work too. Dual monitors means I am always surfing the net :) #internet

All I got to say is thank goodness for Volume Licensing! We got our copy a couple weeks ago. #windows7

I've always used a different technique which has worked to my benefit. I offer a range, but the low number is what I want to get, and the high number is something higher that would be great to get. And so far, I've always been offered more than what I wanted, so I end up with more than my target.

Interesting note about the original post, he mentioned working on 99.9% available to all users. So they could not provide service for 50 hours roughly, and still be within that 99.9% uptime thresh hold. Numbers are fun! :)

I could do a speed test from work, but it wouldn't be very helpful. We have three different internet connections through different providers, and load balance across them all. It's very useful, especially when one goes down.

BTW, you can close a tab set as permanent by the PernaTabs Mod extension, just hit CTRL-W when you have the tab highlighted, and it goes away. It will reload correctly once you restart Firefox, which is actually the only way to get it back.

Yeah, I don't keep chairs in my office for that reason, and it helps that I have a lot of boxes and computer equipment too.

No matter where I work, I demand to be carried around on the backs of other men! It gives a sense of status to be carried into meetings with groups of men chanting!

Don't use Pa$$w0rd, it's the default password Microsoft uses for all of it's training.
