I think you meant to respond to the OP.

Totally agree but I get the defensiveness too. I feel like the anger apologist tonight. Sometimes people need to just vent or break shit. Doesn't mean they really hate all white or all any people. And when I see blanket statements or stereotypes, I feel like I have to say, wait a sec, hey there. Just didn't want

Starting with Fox News.

These days, self defense means a person of color was in my vicinity.

I needed that laugh. Thanks.

True. I just worry we're nearing the f everyone but me and my family end of civilized behavior. Everyone will accuse everyone else of being racist and we'll all be right. I'm close to tears right now because of the article and the comments. I was never certain I wanted kids and to have to worry about what they'll face

Amen. Sad but realistic. Truth is, we can make lists but there's nothing to do to prevent being black.

Generalizing wasn't fair but there's a certain level of frustration where politeness tends to fall by the wayside. Stories like this, the lives lost, it's to the point now where you don't want to be a dick but you wonder what's the point in trying not to be? Save your energy. The people who believe Zimmerman's story clearly want to so there's no point in discussing facts or logic. You'll just raise your blood pressure.

This is just too much. I wish I hadn't clicked the link.

I stopped watching Grey's back in 2007. I too miss the case of the week stuff on Scandal. The show started off with a kidnapped baby being ransomed and it's all been one sex scandal after another since that. Except the lady with the abusive husband.

It does. It's a tv show not a manual for healthy relationships. They're supposed to have drama and conflict.

They won't ever get to be together or the show would end. It's safe to watch. Just ff their scenes together.

Or stage a car accident like he did with Edison.

And he looks like Bill Cosby. His character's nickname is Puddin' Pop. It's kind of hard to take him seriously.

Aww. I thought it was heavy and emotional. I teared up! It takes all kinds to make the world run though. I'm sorry that scene didn't work for you but there is more to the show than the love story. Give it another chance.

That's depressing. When they look at each other, my temperature rises. The chemistry between those two is hot and if you can't see it, that sucks.

Mellie was ok with the affair because it kept Fitz happy. I blame the writers for this 180 where all of a sudden she loves her husband and wants to fight for him. Not the same Mellie from season 1 so no sympathy for her here. I love the character because she's devious and amusing but I don't really care about her
