I feel like if they keep up this plotline it just turns into Dumb Watchmen

The very idea that Congress would approve not using supes in the military is utterly laughable.  Democrats wouldn’t even go along with that, let alone Republicans.  If anything they’d pass a law that supes can ONLY serve in the military.

I like full psycho Homelander, and every time Sage or Firecracker are on screen this season it gets a noticeable injection of life. Most of the established characters are just doing the same shit.

oof great catch!

That’s a heck of a catch, I didn’t even notice it until watching it again either.

It’s interesting how there are zero flashbacks in episode four”

Her punishment is that the picture will be burned in her brain forever.”

More like John Vought!

And in the “There Are No Coincidences” Department - “The Odessa File” is a novel by Frederick Forsyth centered on those very ratlines, and it was made into a movie starring, yes, Jon Voight.

Funny gag that the Godolkin 4 are shown in a promo for Tek-Knight’s show and are said to have disappeared into “a deep dark hole” with a graphic that looks like an anus.  Lest we forget Tek-Knight’s particular fancies.

I think they’re just in a Voght room doing experimental shit and sipping on Starbucks. I don’t think they’re locked in her psyche.

Re: Odessa:

I guessed they missed the part where he’s a veteran with PTSD then?

That intro scene is critical to properly understanding Luke’s character. He’s not some drunken asshole smashing up parking meters, he’s methodically cutting them off with a pipe cutter.  However ineffectively, he’s raging against a machine he no longer wants to be a part of.

Now playing

Happened to see Hells Angels on Wheels a while back, and was surprised how gay it was.

Parking meters. . . .

well he does beat up by George Kennedy, at least. plus has to dig and fill in a lot of holes

i felt the same way about paul newman in cool hand luke. iconic coolness as he...smashes gumball machines, get put in jail, then eats a lot of eggs.

Never got the appeal of Brando in The Wild One.

Al I know is that in the ads I’ve seen for it, Tom Hardy seems to be doing some sort of weird voice that makes me laugh.
