It just seems so absurd to me - like, if you're willing to deal with things like hung juries and re-trials...why Not allow review of all evidence/provided testimony if requested (at Least)? You know, if the goal is upholding the law, justice, etc

The one time I was on a jury, we were pretty split, so we asked if we could see certain pieces of evidence/testimony from the records again - you know, since we were determining if someone was going to be in jail for Years of their life, face consequences for that even after they’re released, if they ever are, etc
