I keep a spray bottle of 1/2 vinegar, 1/2 water around for general cleaning purposes.

I use it to clean my humidifier every week. A solution of 1/2 gal water and 2 tablespoons of white vinegar keeps the tank from getting grimy.

My grandmother swears by the stuff for laundry. I believe she says put it in before the last rinse cycle to deodorize and brighten!

I'll try it on laundry. Right now we use Lysol every few towel runs and on all the dog bedding and couch blankets/pillows. Vinegar would be better and more environmentally friendly.

A couple cups in the toilet finally got the hard water deposits off of it - I'd been scrubbing at them since we moved in almost a year ago.

I've never used it for laundry. Interesting! I use it in my bathroom - vinegar, lemon and baking soda take care of almost everything.

My favorite is using it to clean the microwave. Place it in a bowl with some water — maybe 50/50 ratio, microwave til it boils, then let the bowl sit for a good ten minutes or so — let your microwave get steamy inside. When you open it up, everything will be damp/wet and you can wipe all the stains away with a sponge.

Never done laundry (does the smell linger) but I use it for the bathroom, counters, the fridge (a big one), the stove top, deodorizing the trash can, brush in "washing" my dog when he smells doggy, and all appliances. My mom swears by using it to defrost the windshield/car mirrors in the winter. Some people like it

Windows! Clean your coffee maker too!

I use it to clean the grout between tiles. I sprinkle baking soda on it, then a little vinegar, and then scrub.

I used to work in a hotel and we used vinegar to clean everything! Like, entire bathrooms, kitchens, floors, spot cleaning, jacuzzis.

I don't know if it helps, but I got married at 37 after spending my twenties completely celibate ( overweight, depressed). Needless to say I had huge issues with sex and my body. It's not the same thing, but what worked for me was just not looking for anything in particular: sex, intimacy, but rather getting to know

"But Asians are only 4% of the population! Why do they need a sitcom?!"

Yeah. I envy those who can have casual sex. Envy them with a passion.

This is exactly why I no longer have rebound sex either. I also don't have casual sex for the same reasons, I can't do sex without an emotional connection, I just feel, like you, mostly bored by it. However, if people are able to fuck their way out of a broken heart, I say GO FOR IT! Just because I can't enjoy

My post-breakup sexcapades were few and far between, and also pretty depressing. Turns out I can't get off without emotional connection, and if you're having sex as a way to get over strong feelings you either feel incredibly bored and dead inside or your emotions jump onto the current hookup and get your heart

I never did this, but I've also never done the casual sex thing. It's not for me. I have always assumed, however, that everyone else did this and I was the only person who sat home alone with Colin Firth movies.

Why didn't anyone tell me that Uncle Sugar was just going to hand out the birth control? I thought I'd actually have to go to the doctor and get a prescription but now I find out it's just going to arrive in my mailbox, unsolicited? Hallelujer, no vagina doctor for me.

The words "Uncle Sugar" coming out of his mouth grosses me out so much, I may never have sex again. Mission accomplished?

If by cynical you mean... accurate... then yes.
