Now playing

The glory days of E3 are over that’s for sure. It peaked years ago. It used to be a grand event. A spectacle. Today it seems like just another convention. I miss when it used to air on TV and the crowd going nuts for a surprise announcement (although we had some of that last year. Which was nice to see) and the giving

It’s amazing what they process later. I went with the kid to see Antman (his second viewing; he also saw it with his dad) and two days later, he said to me, “Mama, why can’t people who have been in prison find jobs?” I was not displeased that that issue was what he took away from a film about a guy who shrinks down to

I LOVE that we are normalizing male/female friendships! My daughter’s best friend is a boy and I would hate for her to think that there is something wrong or iffy about that.

Oh my God, I loved this movie SOOOOO much. We took the 5-year-old to see it last night, and while he really liked it, I think my husband and I laughed harder and longer than even he did.

I suppose I shouldn’t be surprised but it seems a lot of the popular twitch and youtube gamer names tend to have a low ceiling. Too often I watch a stream or video of one playing a game I’m familiar with and they spend so much time complaining about being lost or confused or drawing strange conclusions when by far the

Me as well. I tell Steam to remember this system but it forgets it as soon as the day after and forces me to reauthorize my computers(s).

This show had fantastic worldbuilding, but a very boring story. Such a pity that it didn’t work in the end.

On the upside, season 3 of the show did have a proper satisfying finale, rather than the show being abruptly cancelled. So thankfully fans of the show don’t have to play the game to see the end of the story; instead the game is now free to do completely new stories.

An interesting concept on tying an on-going show with a mmo. I didn’t have much faith either.

Defiance was such a good premise and such a good universe that so did not pan out. I -at times- liked the show, but most of the time tuned out and didn’t care about the characters.

I hear Boku no Pico is a great watch for the entire family.

I love The Cat Returns!! The scene with the cats being “executed” for their poor performances cracks me up.

Man Totoro is so boring. Nothing happens. There is no consequences, its just a little kids getting worried about there Mom and a giant furry “thing” plays with them at night to ease their fears.

It’s the same with Nintendogs. RIP to all the Nintendogs who haven’t been fed since 2007.

See you in four years.

It’d be one thing if he was like “this is just a game, nobody’s actually getting hurt, who gives a damn” or something like that. But “I don’t really feel any guilt”and “I guess I’m just not a very remorseful guy” are pretty messed-up sentiments.

While there might not be morality in hacking games, messing with people who are just trying to have a fun and fair game is a very assholeish thing to do.

Smoking? Thats so Instagram... they vape.
