Kind of specific but....I’d like to start challenging myself more in Final Fantasy XIV.  I’ve always been too nervous to take on things like extremes and savages, worried I wasn’t good enough and everyone would hate me.  I want to shake that off and go for it.

Makes that “scary ghost stories” line in the “Most Wonderful Time of the Year” song actually make sense.

I keep seeing grocery workers in the essential group, but I’m still unclear where it leaves people like me, working in fully open non food retail and dealing with the public every day.  My store sure as hell isn’t essential, but it’s essential that I keep showing up to it.

That’s kinda always been the case with Animal Crossing games though.  You play them like mad then one day realize you’ve seen all there is to see.

My best gift was, hands down, the NES my parents bought for me when I was a kid. In today’s world, it’s hard to describe just how magical getting one of those felt. I’d printed out this giant banner using a dot matrix printer (so the pages were one long connected thing) and hung it down the wall of the stairs begging

It makes sense for something like that that doesn’t have much of a story.  But for a game where the story is the main emphasis and not the actual gameplay...

I definitely have....games that are much more story based and less gameplay based I’ve had friends watch the playthrough of and that be enough. It makes sense to me for something like Smash or Fortnite...less for something like an rpg or visual novel. I should probably point out that I don’t personally see anything

I’ve never quite understood the legality of game streaming. Especially stuff like Lets Plays where they show basically the entire game. I guess there’s something to be said for the interactivity of a game....but I definitely know people who have watched a Lets Play rather then buy the game. I don’t know how adding

THANK YOU, it’s such a personal pet peeve of mine when articles call a land in an existed theme park a “park”.

I keep having to explain this to my mom.  The vast majority of the spoken lines on the show are scripted....unless it came from some sort of televised interview or something.  The writers have NO IDEA what was said in private conversations between people.

One of the things I keep seeing in discussions about unemployment is how often they talk about a state’s max unemployment. Unless you are already earning some serious money, you are not going to be getting the max possible amount. The reality is, most people are going to be making not enough to survive amounts. When I

The thing that will make me want to hang onto a PS4 when I eventually get a 5 (which I’m in no hurry to do) is that you can stream from your PS5 to the 4.  That is super cool, as it means you can essentially have a PS5 in two rooms.

Nah, but they’ll give you a big ol’ free “reject” sticker.  It’s a bit of a double edged sword.  On the one hand, you never see cars with VA tags that are basically duct taped together going down the road.  But on the other, the inspections are pretty strict, and can very much screw someone over who can’t afford to

Some do, and usually just mixed in with everything else. Usually it’s when they only have one or two of something rather then racks and racks of it.  I know this is an oddly specific example, but I like going to the Disney outlet stores because they occasionally have theme park merch that I can remember seeing the

Here in VA we have a yearly vehicle safety inspections that you have to pass or you aren’t legally allowed to drive that car. You can’t have anything in your windshield be it a crack, pit, chip, whatever that’s more then an inch.

I absolutely loved my Sega CD, because the few games I did have for it I absolutely loved. I was a kid, so I was kind of a sucker for even the bad FMV stuff. My biggest disappointment about it was that I kept eagerly looking for new Sega CD games to come out that I wanted, and they just never came.

Going through all the crap I had accumulated over the years and finally getting rid of it was one of the best things I ever did. I didn’t realize how suffocating it all was. My mom is really big on holding onto things for “sentimental value” so I had that mentality for years.  That and the “this might be worth

I noped out of a wedding a couple of weeks ago. I didn’t want to go at all, but the person in question I’d known and been friends with my entire life. I also knew going in it was probably going to not go so well, given the Republican leanings of most of the people in attendance. The wedding it’s self pretty much the

Pretty much everything I’ve ever read or heard about him as a person point to him being just not the kind of person you’d have a good time being around, and kind of an asshole.  But to be fair, a LOT of the greatest artists in history haven’t been people persons.  This particular instance though, I’d also be annoyed
