Some Android phones have a feature you can turn on to make the Google Assistant answer calls.  It can either be auto or you can watch it in real time and decide if you want to answer....or prompt it to ask more questions/ask to call back later/say no thanks and hang up.

Some Android phones you can also have the Google assistant answer for you with a “screen calls” option.  It’s pretty awesome and feels futuristic.

Who started calling it defund the police anyway?  I also did a double take the first time I heard it, thinking I wasn’t really ready to go head first into the purge.  I looked up what they meant, but that’s a step more then a lot of people would be willing to do.

What it does accomplish though, is aiding a large number of people in the train of thought that he did not, in fact loose, and is being robbed of the presidency. He’s been sowing the seeds for some time now that mail in is full of fraud, and implying without outright saying that mail in votes aren’t “real” votes, and i

I have a Deebot. It’s not the smartest robot, it doesn’t laser scan my floor but rather does a random pattern.  It also bumps into anything that’s the color black for some reason.  Could I get something way better for more money?  Absolutely.  But it does a more then adequate job.  I can’t complain.

Since dust is made up at least in part by human skin cells, I worry somewhat that I’m giving the robots a taste for human flesh.

I have one from a different company that only cost me 150 dollars, and it’s the best 150 dollars I think I’ve even spent. It vacuums every day so my floors always look amazing. However, I don’t see myself ever shelling out for the high end 400-500 dollar ones.

When ever I look at labor laws across states, California tends to always have some of the best.  The state I live in has close to zero, just the few actual federal laws that we follow.

When I was a teenager my mom loved watching Cops, and literally every time they stopped someone it would be “ohhhh, I bet they have drugs”. And my thought was always....so? There’s no reason having a miniscule amount of drugs, any drugs, on you should make a stop turn into an arrest. But time and time again, that’s

Not only is it not a long dead console, it’s one where currently Nintendo charges a monthly fee for the ability to play online. There’s no way Nintendo would have just turned their head and pretended to not see it.

It really hit home for me when just a few days ago I was on a video call with a bunch of people from corporate at my store who were all still working from home. Them telling us what we should be doing in the stores during a pandemic from the comfort of their own homes really hit home that divide for me.

I used to volunteer for Rock the Vote...it was the best volunteer gig ever because I got into (and often backstage at) tons of concerts for free.  We only had to man the booth before the show, during intermissions, and after, so I’d miss the first few songs and the last few songs but it was a more then fair trade off

I had one of those “kidnap card” things done.  The local fire department did these open house weekends and that was one of the services offered.

I kind of hate that from what I’ve seen of the modern day examples...it’s not stuff anybody outside of MAYBE somebody walking a red carpet to an awards show actually wears.  They in no way in my opinion actually represent the fashion of that year.

Drugs cost a LOT of money. Nobody is going to just hand them out for free to random kids for lolz. Every year I see stuff on the news and facebook like “these look like candy but they’re actually weed edibles! Check your kid’s candy for them!” and it’s like dude....NOBODY is going to just hand that out, do you have

I was at 99% completion in Final Fantasy X-2. I had ONE last fight I needed to complete and I was done. I was going through my memory card because it was full and thought I was deleting one of my X saves. I was not. Well over 100 hours just, poof, gone.....like dust in the wind.

This drives me crazy as well.  It’s just security theater.  You’re contagious before you start to show any symptoms....or could be one of the sort that never gets a fever with it (or any symptoms at all, for that matter).

Me and all but one of my friends started playing after Wastelanders, so I can’t speak to the game before that.  We started playing heavily during the shut down, and it was honestly kind of perfect for that.  The landscapes are beautiful and getting to explore with my friends while stuck at home was really nice.

This. I feel like a lot of the people that hate pile on it never even played it. If you did play it and hate it like...that’s fine...but it’s also now just one of those things that people hate just by default. Is it a perfect game? No. But I have had a lot of fun screwing around and exploring with my friends in it.

The weekend this came out I was at an anime convention. This convention I attended every year with my internet friends, as none of my real life friends at the time were even remotely interested in anime and games. We were all big digimon fans despite all being adults and knew this was probably going to be our only
