Just..... behold.....

I love this! I used to ‘upgrade’ my older Ford Ranger and F-150s with higher-spec parts ordered from eBay or salvaged from the junk yard. The best part was so many Ford parts, even on models from the 90's and 00's, were essentially plug-in-play.

I drove a regular cab F-150 for ten years - and while I loved it and the way it looked - I, like so many other people, have just found having a crew cab to be way more convenient.  I’m not surprised either you don’t see them on the road anymore

As a Texan living in Texas that has seen every Texas edition you can think of - I’m surprised they didn’t just dip it in a vat of chrome and call it a day.

I must admit, I quite literally “LOL’d” at this one - “your damn Mercedes” - I’m howling

Neutral: You don’t name the car - the car tells you their name. It doesn’t always happen right away... sometimes it will just be whispered in your ear as you cruise down the road in your new ride. Other times, it may tell you as it beseeches you to buy the car and rescue it from the clutches of the Evil Stealership.  B

I can vouch for this! I bought a 2015 SL 4x4 last year for less than 17k with less than 100k miles, in amazing shape, and has all the bells and whistles I could ask for. Does it have an old school truck interior? Yes. I love it. Does it look like a CHONKY BRO-DOZER? No. I love it. Will it win all the popularity awards

I loved the 2nd Gen Dakotas - a mid-size before mid-size trucks were a thing - so spot on, seemed to me like they uglied the Dakota just to push people to buy Rams instead

Reading the comments, I didn’t realize people could be so passionate about badges - if it makes you happy and you like the look, do what you want with your ride.

First Gear: Don’t forget us Frontier owners - we don’t bother anybody

OMG - I had this exact same truck back in college - except it was a 96 model with a grey interior. I am getting all the vibes right not. I loved that truck, even with the underpowered 4 cylinder. In fact, I named the truck “Colonel Turtle”. Drove it for ten years till the wheels fell off.

Well said - every time an interesting new vehicle comes out, especially something like a Jeep, Raptor, or the new Bronco, we must shame everyone for not using it for it’s “intended use”. And yet we also must complain that the car manufacturers only build boring crossovers and don’t make anything anyone actually wants

I believe this is a 2004 model - the ‘Heritage’ edition - that was built alongside the new generation F-150 that only came with a V8 to start.  This was to keep a V6 in the lineup.  That model year is the only one that came with solid yellow turn signals (unless these were swapped out).
