Sure! In Beyond Light, Stasis was quite powerful at launch so they tuned down the power of Stasis for PvP only. For example, the duskfield grenade enemy pull in distance was lowered from 9.5m to 6m. PvE was unchanged. This was shared in their TWAB on 3/11/2021.

Big Destiny fan here. The FOMO approach isn’t great. It’s turning myself off from the game and playing most (if not all) of the activities in the game. Your gear levels up and becomes irrelevant next season.
