That’s not what I’m saying. Seattle has scored plenty of times passing inside the 5, including in that exact game when Baldwin got a touchdown. He doesn’t have to run the ball, he just has to be a potential threat/decoy if they so choose to pass. They split him out as a receiver running an absolutely hopeless route

It’s not the worst thing in the world to call a pass. That’s just a really bad pass to call given your personnel. The Patriots would run that play with ease because they have Brady and Gronk.

This is all I can think of:

“I still don’t see how the playcall was so terrible”

I was too stupid to submit the email in time so here it goes:

I avoid Simmons’ work most of the time so yeah I probably missed them and missed them with pride.

You know, when Simmons was challenging ESPN authority on the regular, it was actually kind of cool. Then he left ESPN, went to HBO, was free of ESPN’s restrictive policies, and somehow expanded his insufferable Boston homerism to heights previously thought to have been unreachable.

If not one Seahawks fan brings up Brian Russell (the worst safety of yesteryear) then that tells you who the bandwagoners are.

“FUCK!” - Jimmy Garoppolo

You’ve cited 4 team sports, none of which is comparable to tennis or golf from an historical standpoint.

Darren Rovell - Unaware tennis is and has always been a predominantly white sport with a white fanbase.

Here’s why the Cardinals suck - Pete Prisco is a pretty clear-as-day fan of the team. Which is why he can play doctor and say that a QB in his mid-30s coming off his THIRD different season-ending injury is “better than ever”.

He’s run a 9.58 and a 19.19, I’d say he’s run a race 100% through.

“we found that fully 20% of identifiable ESPN signups came from women.”

It’s since been deleted, but SiriusXM NFL Radio had this to say:

The BBC commentators made note that Gatlin really isn’t “used” to running the full 100, in the sense that he’s usually well ahead to the point that he’s not needed to keep pushing through the tape. He was unbeaten in his last 28 races before today, and he may have actually had a better chance to win the race had he

Ditto the USA’s Trayvon Bromell, who actually held joint-bronze with De Grasse and is also 20 years of age. They both clocked in at 9.92, which is a PB for De Grasse. Really a sensational race that showed everyone that Bolt is still the man to beat, and that Bromell and De Grasse will soon carry the torch for 100

Now playing

Here’s the full race. Gatlin just about had this won with 10 meters to go but started flailing and dipping at the line far too early.

“That should bring up some red flags. But nobody’s talking about that.”

Calling a pass play is not a bad play call. However, there is absolutely nothing defensible about a slant pass (which Wilson has never been good at) to the special teams gunner. Here’s Ricardo Lockette’s scouting report:
