Is it really drawing to a close? He’s been working on this one for at least 6 years...Taking that same timeline it’s unlikely to be over for at least another 8 years.

I agree...the books are really not that great. The show is much better. I mean as the series goes on he just keeps introducing more and more characters and locations and plot lines, and forgetting about past characters and story lines. It’s really frustrating.
