Blu-Ray vs HD-DVD anyone? If I want proprietary locked in BS, I’ll buy a console from Sony lol.

In a ferrari, you can make flame broiled burgers :)
What really surprises me is that according to the NADA guides, 1 million miles only reduces the trade in value by 2925$... from 10k to 7.1k
But they’re already squeezing ~300hp from 2.0 liters, without any gigantic issues, so I don’t see why it would be that much harder to do.
Can you get it in a 10 speed manual so you can pretend you’re driving a semi?
Going to be funny when someone figures out how to replace it with a raspberry pi.
But as all measurements, done on different days in different conditions, with different windspeeds, gasoline brands, etc etc. I will put good money that P > 0.05. That’s why different automotive reviews get different times. I’m not disagreeing that Audi would like to have better numbers all the time for the same model…
True, but for those people, you can drop in a Neuspeed power module. Sure you’ll only get 349lbs of torque and 351 hp, but it’s literally a 5 minute to install and uninstall mod. And there’s no messing with the ECU
Though 0.1 seconds isn’t significantly faster. I would call that in the margin of error and probably day dependent. Plus the RS3 is coming and TTRS
Captain America drives a Q7 because America lol. Look how badly sedans are doing vs SUVs and crossovers. Of course you would want an SUV/Crossover for Captain Amuricah!
Wow... Just wow. My brother is like this too. He wants all sorts of loaded out options and nice cars, and he’s always thinking, hey I can afford 500$ a month so I should max out that number rather than hey, I can do 350$ a month and save the rest and not have no cushion at all.
Of course I know all visits are counted. I’ve brought my car back for chrome trim being permanently spotted 1 week in, squeaky windshield wipers and a rattle in the sunroof. To their credit, the Audi dealer has been amazingly patient and willing to work with my crazy. XC90 is sexy for sure. I’m just not sure about the…
I’d probably avoid the volvo for long lasting atm. Currently Lexus is #1 for reliability (as always) #2 Toyota, #3 Audi, #4 Mazda, #5 Subaru, #6 Kia, #7 Buick, #8 Honda, #9 Hyundai, #10 Mini, #11 BMW, #12 Volvo....
The only reasons I can think of is stuff like safety improvements. The Evo was pretty awesome at the time of its redesign in 2008, but stuff has improved alot since then as well. It’s actually hugely impressive that it still does as well as it does even today. Considering that it came out in the year the iPhone 3G…
“since vehicles need headlights on public roads.”
I think the main difference really is just size, and amount of damage they can cause. I have 3 cats, and they all seem to love/tolerate me in which ever way a cat can love/tolerate a human. They want my attention most of the time, and I don’t expect to get hurt by them. But every so often, (very rarely) one of them in…
I love the constant debate about this. I see the F-35 = Porsche Cayenne GTS. A-10 = old ford econoline van. In almost every possible way the Porsche will be far superior, and be hella more expensive. The times that the ford van would be useful? Hauling drywall and bags of dirt back from home depot.
Also just an interesting tidbit... 52000 Joules or an 180lb person moving at 80mph has the same energy as a 2016 Honda civic hitting you at 20mph. O_o 2860 lbs x 20mph =52000J also
It’s also the other property of physics, where kinetic energy is equal to mass (which doesn’t change) times the velocity squared. Which means kinetic energy increases exponentially with speed, not linearly.
Yeah AWD really changes equation. Although the launch control on the car says to launch at 3000 rpm.
