And surprisingly they say the 2.0t has a bit of lag and isn’t alot quicker than the 1.6t

They apparently went with a smaller turbo on the sonata now.
I prefer this to the Korean car ratings. I feel like German cars rate their engines as worst possible scenario or in any condition. ie “It makes 200hp” (at 15000 feet while heat soaked). Whereas the Japanese will give you power to a decimal point under standard conditions, (sea level at 25C etc) Whereas Korean cars…
Actually that’s a bad comparison. Even 1-5k electric pianos don’t sound as good as a good grand piano. It’s a problem of sampling and layering. They still don’t have something that performs better. The digital vs analog camera comparison however is pretty good.
I can hear the commercial in my head now. “Other companies use bags to protect you in an accident. At Dyson, we use our patented cyclone technology.”
I think you are absolutely right that people need to properly evaluate all the numbers before you decide what is most practical to do with a car. Obviously it depends on who you are and the scenario you are under is. For example if you happen to have no car maintenance skills whatsoever and just finished paying off a…
I feel like this idea is just like printing money for the american audience. Many truck buyers like the “tough” and “rugged” appeal of trucks. (Which is why they keep getting bigger and angrier looking, and we can’t get any decent small light work trucks) But this design would take the cake for the “my truck is…
Actually old style gum wrapper on a string would be hilariously effective. Stationary objects it tends to ignore, but once in a parking lot a foil gum wrapper blew in front of my car and it slammed on the brakes lol
My current car I just flip to the menu and uncheck the box that says presense. The system is then disabled. Pretty sure that unless mandated to be undefeatable, it will have an off switch.
While I do keep electrical tape in the car, what you suggest would troll me slightly differently than you propose. Sticking something on the sensor would result in my car thinking I was way to close to something (and display the sensor telling me, so I’d have to get out of the car, pull off the tape and get pissed at…
If we’re going by the leaked info from quattroworld, they indicate that it will have 400+ HP from a new aluminum 2.5 I5. Can’t let the golf R 400 take all the glory.
It’s the only thing keeping me from going broke. If the RS3 was here in sportback form, or the RSQ3, I’d be forced to turn in my lease after one year and order one. (I swore to Audi of America in a letter I wrote them that I would.)
Good Work. Now I feel safe posting this.
I’m not sure if even snow tires/chains will save this car in the snow.
They’ve done it. They’ve out Buicked Buick. I look at a picture of the front end of this car, look away for 30 seconds, and I can’t remember hardly anything distinguishing about the car at all.
As much as I’m sure California is the top state economy wise in the US, with a Gross state product of approximately 2.4 trillion. Texas is number 2 at 1.6 trillion and New York is number 3 at 1.4 trillion. Which added together are significantly larger than California’s GSP. California is larger however than the bottom…
Awd is not “necessary” but not all buyers buy them without doing the snow tire bit as well. I do find that AWD + Snow tires > FWD/RWD with snow tires > AWD with all seasons > FWD/RWD with all seasons > Summer tires lol.
Shut up and take my money Audi.
