Haha awesome.
I'm gonna lose some nerd cred here, but I never played MM. And I started with the original Zelda. I'm not sure why, I just never heard about it till it was released and even then it seemed like a cheesey knock off game.
Just curious, does the dolphin emulator work pretty well? What sort of controller do you use? PS3?
JRPGs are just as RPG as any WRPG.
So true. Can't even take a piss without showing the data showing why and the projected impact.
A new type of sickness was announced today. It is a timed sickness that will strike the general populace exactly 2 months from now... May 15th. I can already feeling its dark churn in my stomach.....
I liked Birth by Sleep and its characters a lot more than the main series.
Like everything that is popular in life, it will be the hip thing to do to hate it. Cuz hey cool guy, you're a unique individual, and don't follow the trend of the masses!
Oh yea, I remember the 1st boss in the...Hour of twlight instance... he mentioned something like 'so you wish to take the place as the aspect of earth' or something.
I'm not Loremaster, but I believe he's a guardian now, along the lines of Mediev, whereas the aspects were the dragons in charge of the broods.
Haha it was supposed to be more of a parody of the WoW general forums, which is sadly what a lot of people whine about.
Thrall the 500 bill? Clearly WoW Monopoly favors Horde players. Blizzard doesn't care about Alliance characters at all!! gahhhhh
Doesn't have to be gourmet to be delicious~
Doesn't have to be from a stereotype, but I would say a good number of them do come from some sort of interesting imagery. I'm not the loremaster of LoL but isn't Corki the same race as Teemo/Trist? Perhaps the blue skin tone is the human equivalent of black? It's hard to compare the two because well that race is made…
If there were more (some people pointed out that the article was a bit wrong and that there are some black representation in some of the champions) then I don't think anyone would complain.
I don't doubt it, Chinese people are so racist they even hate other Chinese people who aren't from their city.
I know what you're getting at with #1, but since you seem to agree the game takes off of light hearted cliches and stereotypes, does it really matter if that person can relate to the character? Can anyone relate to... any of those mythical people? I'd imagine a black person can relate to a giant golem rock formation…
Yea I read the entire article. I don't know much/any about African mythology. So either it doesn't lend itself to be easily "championized" or I think a big problem would be that a lot of the general populace wouldn't catch the reference.
Also there is Nasus, who is Egyptian themed. (modeled after Anubis).
