GM was in the process of buying out Isuzu when the bankruptcy happened. They were almost there with ownership shares and were producing the Kodiak trucks, these cabovers, and the vortec engines out of the deal. GM dumped all shares during bankruptcy and these trucks went bye bye.

Balance is a really underrated thing in modern cars. Take the Hellcat, for example.
