Always hated Garfields take- he reminded me of the stereotypical smartass “cool kid” (which was obnoxious) which is the opposite of Peter Parker, and that streak of reckless selfishness the writers jammed into his characterization just turned me off completely

For me, I actually found that the uncanny valley effect worked quite well with Tarkin; he’s a monster who kills billions with what ammounts to a flip of a switch, without a hint of emotion in the original Star Wars. That sort of inhuman quality of the cgi in Rouge One suited him.
Nope. Its been well reported since the beginning of production that Downey was cast and would appear in the film. Why bother watching it if youre going to complain after the product is finished?
