Finn was my favorite character out of Ep VII; as much as I did really like VIII (we aren’t having that convo right now) I was disappointed by what they gave him to do in the movie.

I think it was weaker for the same reason the big snap was also not as effective: meta knowledge. We know Captain Marvel comes out before Avengers 4, so it feels maybe a bit cheaper here. I don’t know. I thought the teaser for Carol wasn’t all that different from the previous stingers. If anything, it felt a bit weaker, as the non-comic fans in the audience at my showing pretty much just went, “who?” and then moved on.
