My understanding is that any limited edition Ferrari basically gets sold to a club of very wealthy people with multiple Ferraris who get first dibs.

stop looking too much into it and enjoy the car
It’s a really weird thing to say on an car enthusiasts website. How can you not understand that it’s not just about power and numbers as it is about the driving experience? Especially on a website that shows as much if not more love for the quirky cars than American muscle.
So much this. It’s sad this comment is still in the grey.
Spoken like someone who has no idea why people like muscle cars, or sports cars.
This is the right amount of sidewall on a DD! If you have potholes, sidewall is your friend
I find it funny, because Ford is probably going to be next to market with an EV truck, and quite soon. And yet Ford has a market cap that is just over half of Rivians. Like, a company is about to release a competitor to the only product that Rivian makes, in addition to offering a shit ton of other stuff, and they…
No one has to buy cars at dealers either, but we always hear about ADMs being “gouging”.
If I was a buyer, I could not possibly give less of a fuck which leech gets my money.
Just got the Canadian pricing for my Ioniq 5. I ordered the AWD Ultimate version, which has more toys and luxury than a Model Y, and is $62k CAD including freight and PDI ($49k USD). It will apparently qualify for the $5k federal government rebate, so that brings it down to $46k USD). I think that’s way better value…

I don’t really know how else to explain the broad and persistent demand for expensive trucks and SUVs
That us car people get all of our knowledge from internet slideshows.
I call BS on the audio argument. I’ll admit I have a decent ear for quality but am not an audiophile by any means, you can definitely tell the difference between most standard systems and the branded upgrade. BMW Business to HK, Standard MB to Burmester 13-speaker (not even the 3d sound), Standard VW to Fender,…
Paying tax on money you haven’t received is a horrible idea and if you think they wont use this as an excuse to raid the middle class you are clueless.
I do this. Sorry not sorry. When you drive home in the snow with snow and ice all over your car it all just slides down the windshield from the warm window, collects on the wipers, and freezes. Then you go out in the morning and the wipers are in a miserable frozen block of crap. The defrost takes 30 minutes to clear…
Please note, this is to be expected with beta software. It is impossible to test all hardware configs in all conditions with internal QA, hence public beta.
Same here, but in Montreal, where we’re also pretty all-in on BEVs. I think this is mainly because the American ID.4 factory is being built and it’s supposed to come online sometime next year. Until then, VW is mostly prioritizing production for the Euro market and are sparing only about 6k/Q to North America.
