That last line slew me.

My fiancee stole some envelopes from work a couple of days ago and said she did it because they “made her” by not paying her enough. I laughed and laughed and laughed and then said, “You’re gonna get fired.” Then she cried and I reminded her we need to get a pre-nup.

A guardian was wearing underpants and was on a horse? Yay misplaced modifiers!

Love Actually

You’re not alone. I too have gotten crazy looks.

Diiiiinoooosaaauceeeeeers!

I remember buying games when I was younger and obsessiving over them so much, I would take the manuals with me to school to read them over and over until I got back home to play them again.

Maybe Nintendo recognizes now that the people who would appreciate an instruction manual are now all adults, and we no longer get to read the instruction booklet in anticipation as our parents drive us home. Maybe if they did have instruction manuals, I’d call my mom and have her drive me to the store so I could jump

I’m an adult with a job, married and two kids. I don’t think he’s bragging he’s just saying he has a busy schedule. I only have about two hours (at most) to dedicate to gaming each day.

I have honestly had no issues. It can get warm, I guess, if I’m playing for two straight hours. But as an adult with a job, that is a rarity.

8.25" hand here. For me, the joy-cons have the best response in the controller grip (nice and springy), feel the most natural attached to the screen in portable mode (akin to N3DS clickiness), and are a bit of a chore to hold individually. Seriously, look at how that thing just gets lost in there. I have to rest it on

OR on the roof of an apartment your parents are helping you afford.

My experience with the Switch is a little different than Kirk’s because I’ve been playing it primarily as a portable. That’s the thing with the Switch. If you use it primarily on your TV, you’ll have one experience. If you play it on the go or at least away from the TV, you may have a very different one.

Nintendo probably realizes making them smaller would associate them with the handheld market, and as they are aggressively positioning the Switch as a home console, they probably opted to keep them bigger in line with home-console game boxes.

It’ll work just as well as the warning to not drive and play.

Gender this, social construct that, and over analyze some other stuff.

Holy shit, do people actually take memes this seriously? They’re funny pictures with captions not a doctoral thesis on existentialism.

Interesting, I didn’t know I could disagree so thoroughly with a single person! I’ve played every main Final Fantasy from 1 through 15 (excepting 13, could not make myself like it) and this is without a doubt my second favorite. I view it as a towering achievement and a game that confidently rises above its flaws (and
