I mean, that’s kinda my point. He created the lore, and the lore inspired the bosses and whatnot, but had his involvement not been hyped to kingdom come (oh wait, that’s a different game) I would never have known it. I don’t see his signature on anything.

I wonder about the extent of GRRM’s involvement in this. The article mentions that he developed the world the game takes place in, but it really doesn’t seem all that different from other Souls games. That’s really easy for me to say though, having obviously not played the game.

The best thing about this article is I just noticed that Patricia’s back! And EIC! Congratulations! And thank goodness for us readers! Exclamation point!

Well that’s terrifying.

Bicorn?

I don’t have any proof but I just know Jason Schreier must be behind this…

Yoshi-P is one of the best Bloodborne cosplayers I’ve ever seen...

I came here to write this exact comment.

All your reasons as to why they aren’t like loot boxes just makes them seem exactly like lootboxes, at least to me.

The headline for the article, in addition to any and every other article about modders having their work used without their permission (such as the linked article about the person who claimed their render of Mario was being used by Nintendo), is why I assumed such was the case here.

Oh, I certainly didn’t mean to say that all devs should know everything about every game made by the company they work at, so if that’s how it came across I totally apologize for that. That is absolutely impossible, and I totally get that. And when we’re talking about a company as large and far reaching as Nintendo,

Or, alternatively...

Dammit Stephen, you were supposed to stay here forever!

Well good news...no one is!

I did the same thing with the game, and I finally beat it last year during our mandated backlog catch-up time.

Thank you all for everything you do! I can’t tell you how much I appreciate reading everything here, because above all, it’s honest. It’s that connection, and willingness to be vulnerable, that brings me back here so many times a day.

Warface: Breakout, secretly sponsored by Clearasil.

I remember Arkham Knight getting pulled for a bit, at least from Steam, while they tried to fix it up. Can’t really think of anything else though.
