Agreed. The same thing happened with Saturn - the vehicles would not have sold nearly as well if they were introduced as Chevrolet models. I hope GM does spin off its EV as a new sub-brand. As much hate as GM gets on this site, I genuinely do want to see them do well.

Not really. I see three possible outcomes within the next few months:
