How about when the top ten Google results are threads full of people telling the OPs to ‘search Google.’ So a ten minute search becomes a three hour odyssey to find an answer amidst many red herrings.

It seemed like for a while I could run just about anything with a great FPS and a mid range system at max settings. It hasn’t been like that for the last few years. It feels like developers are throwing in a lot of visual effects that have minimal visual impact (god rays, for example), but maximum performance impact.

Does it even matter? It’s not like we aren’t getting assaulted by advertisements for junk products in just about every other conceivable place. I still manage to buy good games regardless. I just feel bad for indie developers who took a risk, made a game and won’t get noticed because of the heavy market saturation.…

I just picked up a bunch of figures for $5 each at Walmart today. Good time to get stuff if you’re a collector and haven’t completed your set.
