It’s not a bad idea because the number of people you could sell it to was already known (ie very low). So if you know you’re going to sell low numbers, then you have to charge more to justify the development and production costs.

Your Focus is faster than my Fiesta too. After test driving many FoST’s (new, used, with different packages, recaros, not, etc), I bought a FiST with Recaros because 1. it just felt comfortable, 2. it outhandled anything I had driven that was made in this century, and 3. it was quick enough.

Not sure if anything you are saying makes sense. The A3 is 5k more than the Integra’s starting price. If you want manual, then your only option is the Integra so the 1k price difference won’t matter.
