That would probably just leave all of the 500 cars that drove around the barrier disabled on the tracks.

The original C8 was really cool back in the day. I saw one at SEMA around 2006-07ish, and I still can’t get over how beautiful that shift mechanism was.  I wouldn’t buy one new now, but it was really neat back then.

You can only do slightly better....a land cruiser.

Incorrect.

Did it though?

He had a helmet with no plates (dirtbike) so probably not.

They might have spotted him before pulling into the gas station and circled back looking for him...by dumb luck they see him as he was getting on the bike so he bounced.

The kid did speed a block away, and crashed. He was likely was on the ground before the cop made into the lane behind him as the crash site was about 700 yards from the gas station.

But it really isn’t since it’s a multi use facility. Wasteful in a city where land demands a premium is a speedway that sits empty 98% of the year.

Well, we all can't be right.

That is a Bradley Brownell level bad take. GTFO with that bullshit.

“Oh this armed deranged whacko has been here 3 times tonight, I guess he’s not coming back. We got more important things to do.”

True and I agree completely.

better

That is a fair assessment, but I also don’t think LH could have pit without losing the position.  Had he pit and came out in P2 with fresh tires that would have been optimal I’m sure, but who knows.

This in an interesting take!

“Therefore the Safety Car period was a bit longer than what we would have normally expected.”

Merc knew a restart was possible.  Their decision to stay out was not effected.

either the lapped cars would unlap themselves and the race would finish under yellow”
