I agree, but I think that the editors highlighting that and the heavy implication Max's prudishness is an affectation was a bit of a setup. I thought it was to set her up as a villain, which I thought would unfold gradually until the finals.

Very good point. I liked some of the other stuff she was doing.

What I'm starting to ask myself is "who will do the most with the title?" This isn't like other shows where the prize is built-in promotion. It's up to each queen to seize that moment and run with it.

This is how the movie dealt with the racism of the time. There's a moment when the team is practicing and Geena Davis's character runs for a ball that's hit over her head. She turns to see that a black woman has caught. She thanks the woman, and starts to walk towards her.

I wouldn't say that Celebrity Game Night is successful yet. It has potential, but Celebrity Jeopardy had more than the impersonations going for it. There were actually three jokes running through the CJ sketches:

I'm not saying that Max is a saint (unless you think that I'm saying Serena Cha-Cha is a demon). I'm saying that I don't need to see a "humanizing"moment from Max. That moment was human enough for me.

The moment Max talked Jaidynn off the ledge in their ShakesQueer sketch was all the vulnerability I needed. Someone who will do that for another person can not be compared to Serena Cha-Cha — except to contrast as the complete opposite.

I think it's interesting that we're five episodes in and there have already been four team challenges. That's more than any season, except Season Six. (Where the four team challenges were broken up in the middle by "Snatch Game.")

Sometimes people take a bold step and then regret it. I think the revenge stuff was based on Cat Guy and Cam having a rivalry back in season whatever, when Cam first got his teaching job.

Actually, I get it from Violet.

Maybe she beats Burt in the next Congressional race.

Justin Bieber does the same thing. And I think he's 20? There are videos of him in clubs going back a few years.

I think "tea" or "T" is originally drag-speak.

I remembered it because Bunkie being her cousin would mean that his death would hit her hard. So, it was a bomb waiting to explode all this time.

I loved that, because it said to me that Michelle was super-easy to corrupt. She's all about God… until Lucious dangles a teensy bit of money and fame in front of her.

I have a problem with musical duels, as depicted on TV. They are never convincing. Well, rarely. I guess I like the "Gloria" duel between Santana and Rachel on Glee, because it felt like they were really trying to outdo each other. But that musical duel stuff with the Warblers in Season three didn't feel real or

When they were both standing there, and I realized what they were wearing, I knew it was going to be tragically disappointing. But I will say that the sheer strength it took for Jasmine Masters to do those deep bend jumps (on heels!) was incredibly impressive.

Jones was spot on as sassy assistant Porsha. I loved her glaring at the white guy, while you could see wild drama happening in the glass conference room.

I would add that they also set up a dilemma for Rachel to choose between running the Glee club — which was only allowed because she promised to lead it — or return to NYC. But that has been completely dropped as well.
