I couldn't stop laughing at the dad's stories — followed by the apologies.

I'm wondering if the new down artist shown in next week's preview might be The Philip.

Oh, that's a different episode than the one I was thinking of. I was thinking of the one in Season Three.

Just like when Burt and Carole's wedding was all about Kurt! :)

But…. that episode was about Rachel, Kurt, and Blaine losing their virginity at the end. So, the gay guys did end up banging.

Glee has always been really insistent on putting gender roles into Kurt and Blaine's relationship, with Blaine as the "masculine" gay (which he is repeatedly lauded for).

I really liked that tiny gesture of Howard stroking the arm of the chair — it seemed like a comfort to him that the furniture was there.

You're forgetting:

I thought the stupidity of the bus analogy was the point. Nobody would take that seriously as being connected in anything but the most superficial way to the Montgomery Bus protest. But you have to take what you can get in passing along history to kids who don't — and can't — experience what you have. I thought the

I think it was for the time. Although rules were probably relaxed during the war itself. When women were encouraged to give the boys in uniform something to remember.

I agree with you. Once they had Youngblood, they should have taken a second look at that script and… well, exactly what you said. Maybe they didn't have the time to really rewrite the old stuff after casting.

I laughed a fair amount during the two episodes. I can see now that Sid was originally envisioned as one of those Seymour Krelborn types. Had they done that, no one would blink an eye at the Jewish jokes. But, since they cast a black actor, the audience is likely more questioning of the choice to make the village
