@bonedog73: If you bought the phone because of aesthetics in the first place, then I guess I'm kind of confused as to why you're worried about the functionality...

@Unseelie23: I see a pattern here. It's clearly a problem with AT&T's signal.

@viperacr133: When Apple releases the 4g version and people realize they have no idea what's going on...

@leeit2me: Look at it this way: over 600,000 people worldwide are now going to have to deal with a badly manufactured product. You can count on Apple's stock dipping here in the near future.

@homewmt: Given that these issues seem less widespread than the antenna issues, it would make sense that the field testers either didn't have them, didn't notice them, or replaced them and figured the bugs would get worked out.

@snitch: I see a Clue reference in here somewhere...

Excellent, excellent article. I agree with you on most points, however disagree with you on one: "In a way, in its beautiful Germanic minimalism, the phone has lost the humanity of the cheap looking, even naff, but more organic, iPhone 3GS."

The difference is in the quantity and quickness of Giz's posts. While other sites

@DomCasual: Now it makes sense why they included a Bokeh wallpaper...

@dprichard1: I think there's probably a difference between flat out saying, "Apple makes crappy products," and saying, "Hey, there appears to be a legitimate issue with the screens of Apple's new product."

@curtisimo: But there are over 100 new features, so it evens out...

@SKiTz: "Ewww. What's that smell?"
