[spoilers for the 3 people who haven’t seen it yet]
Oh for sure, I read that McAfee was quick to address it last week. But then Kimmel has his monologue last night and Rodgers was back on McAfee this morning trying to walk back what he said while dissing Kimmel and not apologizing. I’m sure Disney is just hoping that’s that.
It’s even more both. Disney owns both ESPN and ABC. I guess we find out if they appreciate the ratings or steps in before it becomes a legal problem.
The connection to Kimmel is far too tangential and separated by decades (not to mention Rodgers’ claim is false) to justify calling it “legitimate scrutiny”.
He probably doesn’t care, he probably prides himself on it. He probably thinks he’s above calling football games, he’d probably rather be the next Joe Rogan. And besides, he doesn’t have half the charisma of Tony Romo so why even try?
That was actually Rodgers’ 3rd MVP (2011, 2014, 2020, 2021), and Brady wasn’t great during that regular season. I’m sure Brady prefers having the SB victory over the MVP.
The information that’s out there is that his family is very religious, and Aaron is not (at least, not Christian) and it was Aaron who cut off communication with his parents and brothers. It’s all bizarre, but so is what you seem to be focusing on.
Favreau is pretty cringe in that episode.
I wonder if Kimmel can sue for slander or libel?
I never heard anyone so dislike Marino personally. What’s that about?
I never really saw those two as major conflicts, so never had much expectation. Dead or in prison is everyone’s fate in “the family”, so Johnny Sack does come to an expected head, in a way.
As a Packers fan, it’s been bizarre to watch Rodgers go down the tinfoil hat rabbit hole over the past few years. He was always measured in what he said, which I always took as him trying to sound smarter than he actually was. But now I wonder what crazy he was careful not to say, because he has no problem saying it…
As a Packers fan it’s been apparent how carefully Rodgers chose his words. Five years ago that seemed pragmatic after Favre talked himself out of town, but now I wonder what other dumbass shit Rodgers believes that he hasn’t revealed during his weekly douche sessions with McAfee.
She has a right to be concerned since he only has one more silver dollar.
So if the first one was a crappy remix of Taxi Driver/King of Comedy, I’m at minimum hoping for After Hours/New York New York remix for the sequel.
“doesn’t seem to understand how human beings in general work”
Mohicans is top shelf and the author can’t even justify putting it so low.
I read Snyder is changing Skrein’s “Atticus Noble” to “Nazo Subtle”.
and he killed him, like, 3 times before it finally took (until that didn’t either).
