I’m not sure exactly what it is, but I’m finding this season kind of boring. On their own, I really like each character (even though Zari 1.0 > Zari 2.0), but without a Mick or Constantine or a Charlie, I feel like I’m watching time-traveling Friends (not even Best Buds!).

I think it would have been more clear if Tony had spent the last 5 minutes of the episode staring at the ceiling & paramedics, talking about how it’s the last call and also the Sun’s going down.

So which is it, Chase? I thought he had a problem with people rooting for Tony.

I had no problem with cut to black and not see Tony get it, the problem was the specific shot in which they cut to black. You build all of this tension and if Tony’s life is abruptly cut, it would have worked better had it cut on his POV shot watching Meadow enter the restaurant. The way it ends on Tony’s face, it’s

Also, I get both Flash and Spider-man/Dr Strange are going full meta multi-verse (and both have already had 3 separate brothers fighting for thrones stories) but would Marvel really feature an obscure one-eyed tentacle monster as the primary villain so soon after The Suicide Squad already went there? If they do, I

but he did have Han frozen

There are some monologues that stop the show in its tracks, but I think it’s better than a C+ if just for Hamish Linklater’s performance. He carries the show. And it’s less about Catholicism than it is about twisting any text for the sake of faith.

Season 2 is great - we get Justice Society plus Darhk-Thawne-Merlin are high comedy together. Also, Letcher is a better Thawne than Tom Cavanaugh.

She’s the queen of tone-deaf hot takes.

I never understood the love for Iron Man 3. It’s just ok, but talk about forgettable villain. Iron Man 2 might have too much table-setting, but at least it has Sam Rockwell doing his best Bob Oedenkirk impersonation.

I will never in my life understand why people dislike Incredible Hulk. There’s not a single thing wrong with it, it’s a perfectly fun action movie and people routinely act like it ran over their dog.

Hannah was hired on two positions on this film, which made it extremely difficult to focus on her job as an armorer

Thought this was a bit of a dull table-setting episode, but hopefully the stage is set for a grand finale.

I never thought for a moment The Shade died. He played it pretty overly-dramatic, seemed like a pretty clear opportunity to play hero, escape, and keep anyone from looking for him. Especially since he’s watching Dorian Gray.

Yeah, I’m not sure why anyone is buying into The Shade actually dying and not using that as a convenient moment to escape.

Yeah, I think it’s a little disappointing that AV Club was quick to jump on Ruby’s inflammatory statement, but not the responses from several of her co-workers contradicting her. Making TV shows is a lot of work and long days, and I find it hard to believe so many other CW shows would carry on if this was the norm.

I’m all for taking Kirby’s art direction and putting it on the big screen,

It’s such over-the-top camp, I loved every minute of it.

I kind of marveled that Legends gained steam as it shed its super characters each season. Fresh characters and arcs that actually come to an end on the Waverider are what has helped keep the show moving forward. Zari and Spooner fit in amongst the more colorful supers, but as the show cleaned house of SFX-heavy

I actually thought this episode was the strongest and the oddest of the season so far (no game show sketch!). What the reviewer felt were not quite fully-realized sketches was what made them kind of fun. I miss Beck too, but hopefully the new cast members can breath some new life into the show (and give Melissa a
